In the photo this week, show how opposites can tell a story about people, places, or objects.
I chose the The National Monument to the Forefathers — also known as the Pilgrim Monument in Plymouth, MA. The monument is topped by a 36-foot-tall statue of Faith, who alone weighs 180 tons. Surrounding statues include Liberty, Peace, Tyranny, Education, Wisdom, Youth, Law, Mercy, Justice, and Morality.
Here is the statue and four opposite sides… Education, Morality, Liberty, Law.

Prompt: This week, share an image of partners. A pair, a trio, a sextet; people, buildings, plants — whatever you choose to shoot, give us subjects that are in tune with one another.

I dubbed these trees in a nearby park the ‘sweetheart trees.’ They had definitely grown together and become partners.

Months later after a harsh winter we found them like this..

I was truly saddened by this but at least they had fallen together, partners until the end.
Get inspired by the curves around you. From curves in architecture to bends in nature to man-made undulations.

Find beauty in the mundane, and purity in the midst of our chaotic, over-connected world. For this week’s challenge, share a photo of something pure — it can be a person, an object, or a moment. “Pure” can convey wholesomeness, something undiluted, or simplicity.
